What is a Barcamp?

In short: not another e-commerce conference!

Barcamps, also known as “unconferences”, differ from conventional conferences as no speakers are booked in advance. There are only participants. They develop the program together, which means that it fully meets the wishes of the participants.

09:30 – 11:30 – Session planning

11:30 – 12:15 – Session 1

12:15 – 13:00 – Lunch

13:00 – 17:00 – Sessions 2, 3, 4 and 5

How does the format work?

At the beginning of the barcamp, there will be a short round of introductions for the participants. Afterwards, the sessions (lectures, discussions, workshops) of the day will be developed by the participants themselves. The Barcamp lives from its participants. Each participant is therefore encouraged to host a session. A session lasts 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute break. There are 3-4 parallel sessions per hour. The participants ultimately own the agenda. This approach means that the agenda always corresponds to the current wishes and needs of the participants.

Why do service providers pay more?

This is actually to the benefit of service providers, who also have an interest that the majority of the attendees are sellers. You will thank us after the event.

Can I give a talk?

Of course! We encourage anyone interested in speaking to pitch their topic during the session planning.

Will there be an after party?

We are sure there will be more than one after party. If you know, you know.

How can I make payments?

You can wire the payment to our SEPA account, or you can pay by credit card.

How many people will attend?

We aim for 150 sellers and 50 service providers.
